Where do you guys normally meet up? Is there a Whatsapp group or something we can setup to help find each other?

Hahaha, sorry, for a minute, I thought you were saying we're organised...

I can't wait to see the shark with flamingo deely boppers!  I think the sign will be quark's t shirt and people with ginger hair. Last year, it was managed by a suggestion beforehand on eFests, followed by a 'where are you now?' text.

do you have Channel Island-specific data on your phone?

I've got 4G and on an 07797 number (so looks like a UK number) but we have Channel islands specific network which means when we go to the UK its deemed as roaming (daylight robbery) - same as going to France etc, and there are no bundles for cheap data abroad . We're a captive market so very little competition :-( I probably need to get a UK Sim for Glastonbury but to be fair those I want to be able to contact me incase of emergency can, and I'd rather not have the lure of data (although for meet ups it flippin useful)

This evening's listening...

I know his headline set was criticised by some because he wasn't wearing flamingo deely boppers, but I wish I'd been there!

The US blue collar version of Ken Dodd, how did they limit his set length?

They didn't. ME was hit with a fine for overrunning. And as I recall, upon that day, not a single fuck was given. Epic.

Sunny here in the middle, has been most of the week,

well done sun if you can hang around for the next 6 months that would be fab thanks!

In sad (ish) news Monty Bus has to have a new windscreen on Saturday, massive crack appeared going up the M1 last weekend, so I have to try and remove his 1st Glastonbury campervan sticker/pass...I have to wait until the man from autoglass is here because the sticker is currently holding the windscreen together!

Any input into easy sticker removal would be appreciated

(if I can't get it off its not the end of the world but kind of wanted to keep as it's his 1st)

Hope everyone is having a splendid week :)

Will soaking bring it off? This happened to ours so I stick the passes onto a plastic document sheet holder thingy and put that on the dash now.

I guess it'll not be the same, but you could take a photo of the sticker, print it out on a colour printer, and stick that bit of paper to your new windscreen.

The last few years we've tried the Avalon café, Ridge & Furrow, and The Glade, so no set venue. I'm sure we'll sort it out at some point!

I've never used WhatsApp, does it have a 'find my friends' sort of thing? Might be an idea.

I thought The Glade worked pretty well last year.  Certainly better than meeting by the Avalon Cafe bins in 2014!

I think the glue is water-based, so soaking could work as long as the paper doesn't disintegrate. Good luck.

Youngest saw his lovely maths teacher yesterday for the first time in 18 months.  It will be the last time too, as the teacher's moving 150 miles away in less than 3 weeks.  Astoundingly he's still going to phone to go through exam papers with my son in the next 2 weeks,  despite the fact that he'll be away with friends the first week, and preparing to move the week after.  Desperately sad that he's leaving teaching;  another casualty of the box-ticking results-driven culture prevailing in even the best schools now.  Despite all that I'm still crossing fingers and everything else in the hope that youngest can get back to school for A levels.  His 6th form interview tomorrow, assuming I can get him there, will be his first time back in the school since November 2015.  Any positive vibes you lovely peeps can send would be very welcome!

I am trying to get in the mood for June, but a bit distracted at the moment...

xx
