Morning all :)

I know there are a fair few Ferocious Dog fans about, so I'm afraid I have some bad news. Someone I'm fb friends with went to see them last night, and I suggested he ask them about glasto. Unfortunately, the answer was that they won't be there :(

Hope everyone has a good weekend. We're traveling back home today, and hopefully having our first barbeque of the year tomorrow :)

Boo! Shame on you spoiling sweary shitballing cocktwatting Saturday!!

Ah never mind, been there a couple of years on the bounce and saw them with Levs before Christmas so not the end of the world!

Yeah, 'this a pity. I'll hopefully see them at Beautiful Days, as long as I'm not working, but hoped they might be at pilton again.

Bollocking twatmonkeys!

I had a fun idea to try recreating the sausages in white wine and tartiflette that we've had in the past at glasto tonight. Just started getting the ingredients out, and the cream went flying and spread across the kitchen floor! Off to the shops again, I guess, hurrumph!

Hi Genie, good to see you! :)

Another glorious day in Somerset, washing on the line, BBQ planned for later. May be necessary to pick up a few bottles of Brothers to go with it! :)

Happy Sunday all!

Equally glorious in Sussex today. Picked up a nice bottle of Kentish cider from a farm park yesterday, very nice just out of the fridge in the sunshine. At 8.4% I think I'll keep the measures sensible though

Sensible? That's no way to prepare yourself for Glastonbury, Quark!

True, but equally my mother-in-law and wife's 90 year old grandma tend not to come for lunch at Glastonbury!

Except for that one time I was REALLY stoned, but I don't think that counts :smoke:

Morning all :)

Just booked my train to Brizzle for Oxfam training on Saturday. Its going to be a trek, around 8 and a half hours traveling for a 3 hour training session, but at least it's only once every 4 years!

In other news, there are only ten more Monday mornings before Glastonbury, hurrah! :)

Morning!

Is that for the festival, mr gumby? Tis a bit of a trek, but a great chance to catch up on reading!! :)

Ten Mondays! WOO! Better start getting organised!

I am volunteering at glasto, but as a litter picker, rather than with oxfam. The oxfam training is for Beautiful Days.

It is getting close now, isn't it? Ten weeks today I'll be heading to site, getting set up in the crew field, and cracking open that first cider! :)

So excited.  I think a weekend of solid sunny weather has just put me in the perfect mood for it.  Lots of playlist listening to do between now and then :)

On Saturday, we had rehearsal in the morning, then about an hours break before more rehearsals in the afternoon. So, for our lunch break, my choir buddy and I sat outside the venue, in the sunshine, having our sandwiches and a couple of cans of g&t each :) It was lovely! Now the concert is done, I have a few weeks before the next term starts so I can get in a bit of research for Glastonbury bands :)

I'll also be able to help in general but not sure about coach.

I would be slightly concerned about Yog having so many offers of help affecting other chances of tickets depending on how the grouping is done. Obviously we want all to go. :)
