Right, apologies to everybody for the confusion over the ticket drive details yesterday. As I understand it, there was a delay in notifying people of the change in Grumpyhack's friend's circumstances. I know a few of you found out at the same time as I did but I have now pm'd everybody on the help list and we should now all be on the same page.

hopefully!

Sorry once more and thanks again for all your help.:)

ps. Forgot to mention, if anybody is using Neil's  checkpage for this and need reimbursing then let me know and I'll get you some funds sent through. Failing that let me know anyway and I'll buy you a cider in June!:D

Shaun.

Hi lovely peeps, have just confirmed with Grumpy that his friends no longer want tickets so please make sure you (and anyone else helping) have just his and Milky Joe's details ready for buying GA tickets in the secret sale, in which we will of course be successful

Grumpyhack   71693522 CF83 8RQ  (lead booker)

Milky Joe    66977002 LA9 6FD

Off to quiz soon.  Any (good) ideas for team names?

Thanks Dizzy, I've now messaged everyone that has offered help. If I've missed any details out of anybody's mails please give me a shout.

cheers all.

Shaun.

Morning NFR NFC :)

Bit grey here in the middle but it's warm & dry so no complaints.

45 sleeps now, gosh it's getting close, rapidly approaching nervous butterfly tummy excitement time :D

Have a wonderful weekend all :):):)

Morning Georgie, I find watching the glastocam does wonders for nervous butterfly excitement! It's strangely comforting watching it scroll back and forwards!:)

I would say that the appeal of a ploughman for some, is that he is able to leave a deep furrow wherever he strides.

I wonder if Heston Blumenthal has done his wonders on a ploughmans lunch yet? I may actually have to go off and see if he has. Rights that's done - it doesn't look like he has. I think I may write to him and suggest it. I doubt he'll take up the challenge, but you never know.

Hestons name is banned around these parts Yog. He blatantly stole my cherry bakewell idea! How are you by the way? I haven't read an epic tale in a while ;)

Hello Curlygirl,

My apologies - I'd forgotten that Mr. Blumenthal had plagiarised your idea for his own gains. The man's a cad.

I'm kind of OK thanks. I've finally had two offers in on the sale of our house, one of which I will accept on Monday. We are still debating what to do with our lives this end though. I think the uncertainty is getting to me and my wife a little. I'm not sure that we are as brave (for definition of brave see 'stupid') as were have been in the past. Glastonbury will be time out from thinking about everyday matters, so I'm looking forward to it.

I'm afraid I can't think of any epic tales right now. My brain's a bit zonked out.

I think that the parental guidance and training you are getting tonight will undoubtedly make you match fit for the festival.

Hope you are well. :)

I'm very well dude, apart from the dodgy knees which are worrying me a little bit as they won't be sorted by the marathon of glastonbury... that's great news about the house sale, finally an end to a chapter! As for the braveness, you've been extremely brave in the past so I'm thinking anything you and mrs Yog decide will still be a little bit brave in my eyes. All will work out ok I'm sure. Can't wait to meet you!! Goodnight x

Sorry, I haven't read the thread in full of late, so didn't know about the dodgy knees. Don't worry, after a fair few drinks ,you'll forget all about the dodgy knees. Instead you'be thinking about the whole of both of your legs, and why they don't appear to be functioning as usual, and refuse to walk in straight lines. :)

We are taking family for the first time to Glastonbury this year - 3 kids age 13, 11 and 10. Any tips for staying the campervan area. Is there a space set aside for families. I have no idea if we are East or West or in a family zone as my husband sorted out the ticket.....any top tips gratefully received as I want to make it an amazing experience for my gang!

One thing I would advise, is to read through this;

http://www.glastoearth.com/the-faq

It's a wealth of information, and will definitely pre-prepare you for the festival.

Artnoon all. Hi Nia, I'm afraid I can't help your query as I don't do campervan fields and I don't have little ones... but welcome!! Regardless of where you end up, you will have a fabulous time rest assured! 99.9% of Glastofarians are beautiful people.

Ive got the afternoon off work and the parents have gone to my brothers before going home so I'm doing a bit of Glastobating this arvo.
