I feel I can return to this thread now - having secured a ticket in the resale...

I have a ticket, It's going to be dry, I can sing along to Katy Perry and then hit the metal stage in the SE corner, everything is going to be super-fine! 

Only downside is I'm on a Thursday coach and not driving down on Tuesday in the camper van - but I'm going......

Hi guys! Wow, what a shit storm. @MilkyJoe can you confirm @grumpyhack has removed himself from other groups? If we do manage to get through and GH has his ticket secured, there will not be time to delete his details, and put yours in lead bookers spot and resubmit meaning you losing out. Failure can happen in a split second.

I have asked him to Curlygirl but only he can confirm this I'm afraid and he's been very quiet over this. If it's not too much trouble after all this though you could put myself down as lead booker, it may make things easier and I will get my missus to send Grumpy's ticket on if we are lucky...

That would save valuable time but still delaying the process. What's everyone else's thoughts?

I've had a good think about this and unless @grumpyhack can confirm to us he is not in other groups then I'll just try for @MilkyJoe.  It's not worth jeopardising Shaun's ticket due to another being in multiple groups. My mates lost out on coach tickets in October due to one of our group being a selfish fuck and doubling his chances! He got his with a different group! Luckily they got general tickets but had to arrange seperate transport.

Sorry if I have confused anyone.  I have a number of people who will be trying for me, mainly friends who are not in any of the groups and I'll also be trying on my own.  The closest thing to a group is that I seem to have found myself paired up with Robynn from Holland, so I'll be trying for him and his mate and any others I can help.

I will be going solo and am only looking for a general admission ticket for me.  The others who planned to come to Glastonbury with me have all decided to give up and have booked a holiday abroad instead.

Im really perplexed as to how you think you are 'helping' anyone by scatter gunning your efforts. I mean it increases your chances but puts others at risk.

Hello grumpy. I asked Robynn to contact you to see if you could join forces. However this was days ago, and before I knew that the mob off this thread were trying for you. I agreed with Robynn today that I would have to drop you off the list, as there was a possibility that the combination of me entering both your details could result in a time delay / fuck up for Robynn, who I first offered my services to.

To all on here - given the above information I think (but am not sure) that  it's me that has fucked up on the grumpy angle. That said, if grumpy does have others (mates) trying for him alone and they get through, then this could fuck up the other three people on the lists chances. I think that this is something you'll (grumpy) have to have a think about, and make a decision. Maybe your mates could also try for Milky Joe and the other two on the list, but realize that this may not be possible in terms of who initially pays.

As an aside I have previously informed Milky Joe that I would try for him if I got through first for Robynn. I doubt if I'll get the chance to do this, but now realize that in doing so, I would potentially jeopardize the other people on your list ( I haven't been keeping a track on who you are going for, so don't know in full, who you are trying for). So, Milky Joe, I think I'll have to refrain from trying to help you. Hope you understand.

I hope that the above has helped clarify the overall situation a little? I hope that it has, and that it hasn't added another spanner in to the works.

Hi Grumpy, as you seem to have lots of people trying for you and there's uncertainty about whether they'd be trying for Shaun as well, I think it's best if I just go for a ticket for Shaun.  There's no time to resubmit details so if one reg is already used it will most likely wreck the transaction for the whole group.  This will also apply to your attempts to help others if you don't realise one of your friends has already bought your ticket. I'm afraid everyone helping you has to agree to go for tickets for every person in the group or it just doesn't work
