That sounds good CG, fingers crossed for Thursday! I'm bloody sleeping afternoons which is usually when the sales have been on. I try and stay awake until about 2pm UK time. Pretty much just living on 5 hours sleep a night now until it's all over!

Pyramid field, 6 a.m. to 12 noon, Friday to Monday. I thought that's what I'd be doing, but nice to have it confirmed. I'll be keeping an eye out for any nfr ne'er-do-wells staggering back to their tents!

Yup! It's also just around the corner from the family field where we'll be camped, so only a 5 minute walk to start my shifts, and a 10 minute walk to the crew field for a shower after!

Yep, I was just doing my shift changeover and came back to find I had missed an alert from siblins page checker! Thought I'd missed something big!

Morning! I havent got the page checker thingy so every morning when i get to work I am checking here like a frantic woman!! ARGH!

At least we know it's working!  I can be by my pc all day apart from 2.45 to 4pm, which is unfortunate timing as that's when the secret resales have been in the last 2 years.  Hopefully others have that time covered.

 Can I give you all a bit of a poke here to donate blood, if at all possible, stocks are constantly running low, it's easy peasy, doesn't hurt and can do so much good. You won't even miss the pint they take and you get cake & biscuits, what's not to love

Already happily donate, don't have a rare blood type just a popular one. Since we're having the conversation..

I'd also point people to sign up to the Organ Donation Register: https://www.organdonation.nhs.uk/ 

I've had a couple of family members who have sadly, died young and my family were all incredibly proud of their decision to donate organs, it did give some comfort knowing that the decision had gone on to save lives. 

Why we haven't followed an opt-out system I don't know. They do it in Wales, you can become a donor by opt-in, or do nothing. If you do nothing it is assumed that you have no objection to donating organs. If you don't want to - you register not to be a donor. I think a lot of it is down to the 'Oh it takes to long to sign up' and most people would happily donate but out of laziness they're not on the register.

I'm registered to donate everything!! I just can't give blood while I'm alive!! 

I'm a little bit glad I can't really, as I am terribly squeamish and even blood tests make me feel very very peculiar. But I would do it if I can, I'd just have to man up!

Morning all, the sun is back in Leeds, and nekkid dancing is bringing it back for June.

On blood, that is a fantastic service to provide it for people. I'm in the LucyG camp myself, I'm registered as an overall donor but fainted in a well man clinic (oh, the irony) during a blood test so extended donations are out for me. Soz

The resale is getting closer, seen the CV ticket page so ours will be soon.
