Morning :)

You don't need me , Quark has got you covered!  Seriously good call, much simpler to bake the fish and make a coconut vegi curry to go to with it, less risk of overcooking the fish as well.

thanks I think it's going to work well :)

FYI

some people have their tickets!!!!!

How exciting,  a couple of the Glasto Gals over on FB just posted pics, they look so colourful :yahoo:

Yep, not us yet but a mate in our group. However, like others, he's not got his CV ticket yet.

Ours were booked by OH ,his surname begins with an R, we could be in for a long wait!

That would be logical but I'm not sure. I got ours last year before Jeffie and I'm after him in the alphabet with our last names.

Maybe they're handwriting them and doing a huge zentangle across each one?

Of course,  I forgot "there is no pattern" :D alphabet is in fact a pattern!

Happy you're able to make it now, best wishes to Mrs CJ :)

Cheers!

What a very fine day! :) Had a picnic in the park with gumby jr, followed by swings, roundabouts, slides and the zip wire. Currently enjoying a glass of vino and reminiscing about Sunday afternoon at Glasto 2011 with a bit of Eels. That year didn't start off too well, but that Sunday was fab! Dry ground, warm sun, blue skies, Eels, Imelda May and Queens of the Stone Age. Sigh....

My first year! Hot morning all, nice weather up in Leeds today, off to see the family for a picnic later, and show off my grandad footy skills with my grandsons.

Never made it in 2011. For some reason Mrs Q wasn't keen on cutting honeymoon short so I could get back

Lovely day now but bloody hell did we get some thunder about 5am. I was actually quite enjoying laying in bed listening to it, then one broke right over the top of the house. Woke Mrs up and one of the cats shot off the bed to go and hide somewhere! Anyone else get a storm?

Enjoy the day with the family Carlos. Off to meet up with school friends for a few beers and a lot of very old jokes today :drinks:

And happy sweary fucking arseburgering Saturday :)

Got a bit of a downp*ur here! But I am super excited about Glastonbury this morning. I am determined to make it to meets. Stop being a wimp and go. It isn't like I'm shy either!

I was just wondering why that word had been censored! I get it now, bit slow this morning!:)

Ok, very Manchestery now. Better to get this now than in June.

My earworm today is Baloji's Spoiler, looking forward to seeing him this year. My time to listen to Spotify or YouTube will be limited this year, so it will be more bimbling and pot luck picking bands this time, than last year.

So glad you can make it to the farm Carlos, and hope Mrs CJ's OK.

Still warm and dry here,  but storms are forecast from tonight, which will make my friend's al fresco wedding reception tomorrow interesting. It's by a reservoir a couple of miles away, and I'm not sure how I'll be getting home!

Have a lovely weekend y'all.

Ps late to the party, but when I was 15 my fave bands were Led Zep, Floyd and Supertramp. I can't decide whether it's sad that the first 2 are still high on my list!

Evening all :)

Had a rather pleasant day here, after the celestial shenanigans overnight. Went off to the in -laws, as it is Mrs gumby's dad's birthday. Got roped into cooking a barbecue for 12 people, which I wasn't expecting, but then did some glastobating with sister in law and her kids. Followed by cake :)

Sounds like a good day, mr g! I just popped out for a cig and wondered what the party type noise was. Soon realised it is Common People, a two day festival a couple of miles away! Had a moment of disgruntled local resident-ness, realised I was turning into my parents, and quickly had a word with myself! I am now better, and will not let it happen again!

We went out to see my father in law in a play in Leeds tonight. I've never seen so many people in the Carriageworks glued to the windows in the interval and the end, to catch the Specials in Millennium Square. Tempting to not go back for the second half but I was on my best behaviour!  That there London tomorrow for a dance competition and a gawp at a big city. Shining sun please.
