I've decided this morning that if I get lucky with the coach sale tomorrow night I'm going to treat myself to a trip into Brighton on Friday night to go and watch Dub Pistols.  Saw them at that festi in Guildford but the crowd just didn't do them justice

Evening all  

started getting the jitters about ticket day now. I had been fine, but today I've set up the text shortcuts on my phone and a spreadsheet on my laptop for copying and pasting, and I think that's triggered the nerves. I suspect I may have dreams involving an F5 key tonight......

got to keep up the sun god praying old sons lol plus i had a bad day today having 2 ops booked in one day so this cheered me up ..i hope you girls are not the offended ..G

For once I am only jittery some of the time rather than constantly. Off to London tomorrow for start of holiday, registration numbers all saved, printed out , saved in multiple places ready for Sunday morning ( afternoon to me ) .... I can't help for coach tickets this year as I'll physically be on a plane but ready to hit F5 like a lunatic on Sunday

I applied to bin paint, but didn't put it on here as didn't want to jinx it , but I didn't get a place - found out last night :-( Really wanted to give something back , and do something totally different but hey ho. There was a question to send links to any art work you've done, I could hardly send a picture of the garden wall I painted plain blue lol ....so no wonder I didn't get a place :-)

Yeah I think a random fairy painting a garden wall dulux Mediterranean blue with drips probably make the grade. I really fancied having a go too, was all ready to camp for a few weeks before and immerse myself into the whole experience ... I think I got a bit ahead of myself. Had talked about applying for a few years and finally found the courage to do if and go alone this year ... Hey ho !

Had a brainwave on the drive home tonight, and have now installed IE onto my Xbox. Not ideal but it's given me an extra browser for tomorrow! Proper squeaky bum time now but just keeping positive!

Hi peeps, hope the jitters aren't too bad.   Sorry you didn't get the painting job @Funkyfairy!, good luck with the ops @guypjfreak, hope your life is merde-free very soon @Yoghurt on a Stick,  that your bum doesn't need oiling to stop it squeaking tomorrow @Quark,  and that the F5 dreams are good @mr gumby.  @lucyginger I'm also nursing a cold/flu lurgy so feeling a bit sorry for myself.  Will try my best for people tomorrow though.

Sorry to hear that you are experiencing the lurgy dizzymoo. I thought there was a load of shit going on in my life. It would appear that I don't have to fight the battles that you do. Reading your recent posts has given me some re-perspective. I hope that you keep up the good fight. One day you'll look back and laugh at all this - possibly in a manic type way whilst sporting a straight jacket! Wishing you well.

I must be getting old, I looked at those pictures and thought, 'blimey that shower tray looks a bit dirty!'

had a huge brain fart today. My mate rang me up this afternoon and asked if I fancied playing in a golf competition on Sunday morning.

"Of course says I, get the tee booked." 

"Right that's booked for 8:10 says he" 

"Great, see you Sunday."

4 whole hours later and it hit me full on!

Thanks Yog...  does one sport a strait/straight jacket?  I like the idea of a gay jacket.  I don't think that's a euphemism but may be wrong.

I see what you mean. It could be a bit like Brown Bottle off Viz, in that when you are heterosexual and you put on the gay jacket, you mince around speaking Polari and eying up the members of the establishment that you find yourself in.
