In other slightly related news I still haven't had a ciggie even with the stress of the shit storm this morning. So offically 24 hours ciggie free now. If I can get through that stress without the need for a ciggie surely thats the biggest hurdle crossed?

i believe it was @Gnomicide who scored our tickets, so many thanks in your general direction.  I paid for six deposits, none mine, after someone got through but had no way of paying (i think that's what hapened anyway).  all worked out well, considering we didn't get a sniff here.

Card got rejected by the silly bank  cos it thought it was dodgy so a back up was needed.

I got a group of 5 this morning (none of them me!) and the feeling of elation was overwhelming. To be able to do that for someone else is a real privilege and a huge part of why Glastonbury has become so important to me.

Amazing. Well done HMV. Can't believe you decided to give up yesterday... I couldn't have done that. I wanted a cigarette so bad on Thursday... but didn't.

It wasnt on purpose it just happened. Myself and Mr Yeti were in town shopping. I lit a ciggie and he said lets go to the vape store. Ye never know that will be your last ciggie. So I ever so slightly huffed and agreed and delighted now I did. Already converted. But yeah still have nearly a full pouch of tobacco that I haven't felt tempted to use.

Just brilliant. I always had cigs in the car as I find if I didn't have them I'd be tempted more. I gave them to my sister after 2 weeks. I still smoke at festivals but I know as soon as I leave, I stop again.

Sounds like quite a few of the NFC crowd got theirs by hook or crook, so just a few to sort out in resale and we've got a full complement!

After having spent the rest of the day planing doors to fit over new carpet (a) I've earned a beer and a happy gag, and (b) I have the utmost respect for anyone who can actually do this carpentry stuff properly. Massive pain in the balls!
