Well I'm the only one from my group who's decided to go or got a ticket, so I'll definitely be at the meet - I need friends!!

Morning all! Going to start thinking about sparkly outfits for the festival now! 

I'm still feeling poorly, this sore throat and cold is hanging on a bit too much! Suppose it'll go when it's ready Still, the sun is shining and the sky looks pretty so that's ok.

Morning all - didn't post yesterday! But massive thank you to @mr gumby (and Mrs Gumpy) for sorting our group with tickets. I think I've mentioned that the other two in our group have been enjoying their elopement wedding and are off to Venice now - sending them a Whatsapp message telling them they are going to Glastonbury and that the deposits are on us is pretty pleasing!

It's weird that I'm more tired today then yesterday, given I got up at 6am yesterday just for tickets. Today I'm sitting in work, trying to get myself motivated to do some work!

Looking forward to meeting you all in June

The wonderful Mundo Jazz (what happened to them?) Had their own brand of beer called 'Responsibly', named so they could hijack the 'drink responsibly' message at the end of ads for other drinks. I remember crying with laughter when I first heard their thoughtful song about the new pope  ('No bumming'). I miss them.

One of my friends loves Mundo Jazz, and I never saw them and I really want to but now they don't play there anymore! Boo! Maybe we should start a campaign to get them back?

I've never heard of them, I will add them to my "to listen to" list and give them a whirl later  I need to make more of an effort to see smaller bands.

Ooh, it's my 40th the Saturday after Glastonbury, so I'll be in full celebration mode for that while we're there. Just need to plan what to do on my actual  birthday now, everything next year was ticket dependant!

You old lot are the reason I can still go, as my family keep saying I ought to leave it to the youngsters. I tell them I've got to go, or there'll be no one to put the Horlicks on. I'm on my 8th mid life crisis and I haven't even got round to getting the Harley Davidson yet.
