Oh this evening was going so well until the muffin came up with @fatyeti24. Now we're in the middle of muffingate. I mean for fucks sake muffins are like a larger cupcake. Not something you make a fucking sandwich with.

Then it goes on to barms and baps. Jesus lord help me.

Copious rum is gonna be needed.

Nothing lies on the  stomach like a slice of Mary Nolan's Barmbrack.

Sounds like one of them work your way to fitness videos (which may or may not actually exist), whereby you do a bit of gymnastics just outside the oven door on baking day - as oppossed to the gymnastics that you do in front of the oven on Christmas Day - which are entirely different, and I believe not even of the same species.

I think I'm too sober to understand tonight's discourse!

Don't worry dizzymoo - I haven't taken the right amount of prescribed medication in a number of days and it may well be showing in some of my posts. Not sure. In any case don't worry - I can tell you now that it was a corny attempt at humour, and that alone. It's quite interesting how we can all miscommunicate / misperceive things on a forum or an email etc. Makes you think of 'the olden days' when people used to write letters to each other all the time. That must have been a frought business for some people at some times. :)

Hello all bottom of page bumpage -hope you are all out having fun - today we have got rid of the kids overnight to my parents and are having an incredibly rock and roll time decluttering the house in prep for our move in December.  Tomorrow we have the joys of the garage to deal with - so I have sent Mr dotty out to get me some wine and some pizza as it is the only thing that will help to dull the pain. Have a good Saturday night x

Oh and we are going to watch some glastonbury 2016 footage tonight as there is still quite a bit we haven't watched yet from the summer. All of Sundays programmes to get through should be some good stuff on - probably watch LCD as we went to Coldplay- and it was really good before anyone gets sniffy about it!;)

I've got all of the iPlayer recordings if you're missing anything. I don't mention it much, because I don't want this place to get a reputation, but if you need a video, send me a PM and I'll stick it on Dropbox when I get a minute.

Edit: 2015 and 2016

Have had a non stop, and not at all very interesting, day.

I thought of this thread this afternoon when I was huddled under an umbrella watching 2 hockey matches from the sidelines - and wearing sandals. Very poor internet connection tonight .  Catch you tomorrow on a better one I hope. Sweet dreams one and all.

Hockey's great, although if your team is anything like my aunts when they played, they'd be done for gbh before half time.

Curly girl, I've gone the hybrid approach, no kids, but step kids. My free time is based on Monday Tuesday and the weekend ;-) June's my treat, ha ha.

Night all.

Did you try any Jonko Batty aka moonshine rum? I lived in Montego Bay for a year and tried some of that stuff which you could get in the local bars on the qt. Fuck me that stuff was lethal. Jonko Batty means black birds arse or something similar and it certainly smelled like arse but would put fucking hairs on your chest.

Ah and now a penny has dropped................. Lol

Unfortunately didn't get to try that one HMV, but thankfully I did get to sample some of the other local delicacies :D

We did get pretty shot on the Wray & Nephew overproof though!

My Sunday is consisting of unblocking the drainage pipe from our guttering, so all about rock and roll! In the interests of weather gods I did just take a neckful of gutter water down the back of my shirt!

Blow is being lessened by gallons of coffee and Bears Den on the stereo though. Happy Sunday all :sungum:

Went to the distillery when we went to Jamaica last year, treated myself to a bottle. Jesus but that was a day!

Tasting session at the end of the tour. 6 bottles of different rums, and some glasses. The coach leaves in 45 minutes, have fun :yahoo:

*adds visit rum distillery to the list* :D

Lazy Sunday here. Got up late (unusual). Watched film. Made cake. Worked out this site works better on this laptop in Chrome not Safari.  Found white spirit, it was with the detergent by the washing machine.

It has now stopped r@1ning so am hoping clouds will clear and I can go outside later and look at the harvest moon.

Little things

I know it's ages away yet but I really want to know the coach times so I can plan my life a little bit. (Which will then all go to pot as soon as I sit on the coach). The only times I can find on tinterweb are from 2014 and I don't like them ;) so I'm hoping that they left earlier last year.

I'm desperate to know too. First time coaching since 2007!

'Noon all, hope today's good for all, and certainly better than the weekend Mr G.

It was Apple Sunday at the in-laws, so we have many bags of apples to try and make cider from.  It won't last till June though.  Happy to see Car Seat Headrest on tour next Spring and coming to Leeds, I missed out on them at the festi.
