These pumpkins are great! I haven't been very well recently but luckily was much better for the weekend to get involved in some Halloween fun. Went to a party as glastonbowie - the theme was celebrities who've died in the last 10 years and I basically went as Bowie with a glitter catsuit and a glittery lightening stripe. Felt like a star! Hope everyone's having a fun Halloween

We took part in a Halloween parade tonight, which turned out to be a much, much bigger event than we'd anticipated. There were tens, if not hundreds of thousands of spectators.  It was quite something and I'll not forget it into hurry. I'll post some pics later but right now there's beer to be drunk.

Mead also makes me happy.  What isn't making me happy is the state of my elbow - looks like someone's stuffed a golf ball under the skin!

I'll need to add the hip flask to this lot, probably for rum or tequila.  Undecided.

The best bit is that a lot of them attach to my belt so I don't lose them.  I'm like an alcoholic Batman.

We got tickets! BOOM! I'm very much looking forward to a 3 festival summer next year!

Elbow sounds horrid @Quark. Hope it's getting better or that doctor can sort it.

No interesting news here. We have picked up renovating the house after a 10 year break.  Finding it hard to focus on doing one area, as so much needs doing, but am trying to focus on outside before winter weather starts. Have had fence mended, painted most walls & jet washed terrace & patio & 1 bench, need to jet wash courtyard & remaining furniture, finish painting walls & treat furniture.

Told you it wasn't interesting !  Off to paint a terrace wall very shortly ...

We're painting our flat, Trevethin. It's not very exciting but it does look good! Going to finish the kitchen at the weekend, I might paint the en suite too. Then the landlord can come and have a look! 

Ooh, sun is shining today and I'm off to the opera this evening. Super

It's coming along @trevethin and @dizzymoo, certainly no worse.  NHS advice is to go to A&E if infection spreads or you start feeling feverish, in which case it's gone septic.  At the moment mine's neither, and have GP appt on Friday so should be all good

My sympathies to anyone decorating.  We're just about finished now with a few exceptions (bathroom floor and painting downstairs loo) and I cannot express how much I hate it.

Yeah I am not loving the painting! I knew we had a lot of crap in the house, but this is ridiculous. I'm planning a couple of trips to the charity shop to get rid of a lot of things at the weekend! 

Hope the elbow doesnt go nasty, Quark.

Freecycle's always good as well, got rid of our old double glazing that way.

The other one I found when I emptied the garage was a guy who worked at improving local youth clubs & social centres as they were always on the lookout for any decorating materials.
