If the first two headliners are Radiohead and The Cure, and if they are booking the headliners now/recently, I could see the third being Green Day on account of them having no Scottish date.

Don't really appeal to the same crowd but they will draw in a slightly older crowd and less of the crowd they seem to be trying to move away from. And if it's a day ticket only affair it wouldn't really matter that they don't appeal to Radiohead/Cure fans.

Hope there looking at bands like the human league for during the day.

They were outstanding at titp years back so we're the crowd watching them.

Interesting... Green Day playing Bellahouston Park on 4th July, promoted by PCL Presents. Directly competing pretty much with the new DF concert it would seem!

Supported by Rancid no less! I'll definitely be picking up tickets on Friday.

Pity it wasn't Glasgow Green though. That would have been much handier.

Aye but they're doing places they missed off last year, like Ireland and Wales whereas Scotland and England got a visit on this tour.

They have apparently knocked back festival bosses saying they wouldn't be doing festivals and I imagine Glasgow Green will get the same. With their stage setup you can see why. Obviously they did Glasto last year but they had all sorts of different things going on in the set to carry it off without the props, plus the history with the festival.

Aye. I'm skeptical myself, but the talks are apparently happening, and I don't think they needed the props at Glasto. Their stage show wasn't actually that different to what I seen at Hampden for what it's worth.

Think we could be looking at Biffy Clyro, The Cure and Radiohead as the top three. Maybe take out Biffy and put in Muse who aren't exclusives.
