The white tent!!! Bands, mainly Spanish, but English acts like Teleman and Hooton Tennis Club played there earlier in the evenings, but then there was Ochoymedio DJs playing until 7am each morning.

Ah I see.  Makes sense.  From the post it sounded like it was a club in the town that I hadn't clocked, but that makes more sense now.  Cheers!

Doesnt look like an announcement due this week then...

Last time i was there they had a Pre Festival Party in the open air club next to the water park on the Wed night. The club was open whilst the fest was on too, was strange seeing the police clearing the area of clubbers around 9am, clearly still pissed, the police just wanted them in their cars and away.

It's well and truly closed down (and derelict) is that outdoor club these days.

Seu Jorge and Deftones would be great but they definitely don't fit the type of FIB goer, at least from the impression I get on here 

London Grammar play SBSR on THU, and then again in Nimes on SUN, with Benicassim located pretty much half-way between both these locations, so it would be a big surprise if they didn't play FIB this year on either the FRI or SAT night - especially as a) they've never appeared before, and B) their new albums drops a month before.

Yep, I'd bet money on LonGram. Everyone else is still kind of a mystery though.

Hoping for Editors to be added, they're touring Europe this Summer and according to Google haven't played Benicassm since 2006! Which seems a very long gap to me... perhaps they didn't impress. 

Anyway, there's certainly a Beni shaped gap in their schedule and no Spanish dates so far.

They just got announced for this in Murcia, but hopefully after they play the show in a month they can contractually be announced for FIB in the final announcement  :)

Reading announcing tomorrow, so does this mean we'll have to wait until at least next week now for ours? Judging by what's been announced for Reading so far, lets just hope whatever they announce isn't the same as Benicassim as that lineup is poor. Personally hoping for Fat White Family, decent dance act like Underworld and Drenge

The R&L lineup is really poor this year and that will be partly to do with how strong the Live at Leeds lineup is, I'm sure LAL will have some exclusivity agreements. If R&L had the LAL lineup on their undercard it would suddenly look very appealing.

I don't think we can go off previous Beni announcements to gauge a date, they seem to just do it as and when they feel so it could be a few weeks yet. I'm sure we'll have something by the end of April though. It's no wonder the festival never sells out.

Agreed, he's been booked on status alone, but his album, which he'll be promoting, could turn out to be w*nk, as could his band. Still, sounds like as long as he plays wonderwall the average FIB-goer will be happy ;)  Let's hope he proves us wrong
