I would expect that Crystal Fighters will be the main sub/support, doing the 11.30pm slot before Kasabian headline from 1am-2.30am, with a named DJ, doing a late night slot on the main stage from 3am (not unless they make our festival, and book Underworld or Leftfield for this final set, as a special guest???) In terms of Benicassim itself: Can anyone recommend any decent restaurants to eat in during the day? Nothing gourmet by any means, just places that serve something somewhat nutritious to combat the inevitable abuse that the body will endure. Also, any particularly nice pubs/restaurants to sit, in the shade, and have a beer/cocktail during the day? There's a burger place that gave 3 of us food poisoning so I would avoid that.... danz026
Hey everyone, me and a mate booked this last week. First ever festival for me so I'm absolutely buzzing. Few questions: How close are the stages to each other? Really want to see Years & Years but Kasabian are the best band in the entire festival, Y&Y finish at 1am on the FIBERFIB stage right at the same time Kasabian are starting Any set list predictions? I've got to admit I don't know a huge amount of these bands but would like to listen to the music before seeing them live I'm assuming the South Beach stage and the FIB club are more house music type arenas?
Beefy
The arena itself is pretty small compared to a lot of other festivals so you won't have any trouble hopping from one stage to another - just depends if you want to get near the front or not! If the set times/stages on Clashfinder are correct, then the Fiberfib stage is literally a couple of minutes walk away from the main stage. No stages at Benicassim are more than 5 min walk away (main stage to SB stage is furthest). South Beach stage, last year (it's first) is more electronic/dance genre, with acts and known DJs, however there is also the SB motel area, which is dance/house music all night, by local DJs - it's a great party vibe here. FIB Club is mainly up and coming Spanish bands, more indie style, until about 1am/2am, and then more indie style DJs until close at 6am. If you want to listen to all bands/artists before going, to get a feel of you want to see, this is probably the best playlist I've come across this year, which is from the @BenicassimFans account on Twitter

Twice
How mental are the crowds here? I've heard its pretty relaxed and not particularly violent which is cool, but I'm not a fan of that awkward standing around listening that you get in some crowds. I like a non violent moshpit me, I assume those who want it can find it nearer the front? Or would my mates and i be seen as a bit of a nuisance for trying to open a pit aha Either way its the last day of May, which means its one month and 13 days till it begins. I am so hyped. danz026
Is there any way to hire a power bank other than getting the free one for hiring a load of massive lockers? BadBurrito
Hey probably bit of a stupid question but there is a train leaving from Puerta de Atocha in Madrid at 11:10am on the 12th July. Our flight supposedly arrives in Madrid at 10am so don't know if I'd have enough time to make it to the train station from the airport. It says that it's a train with stops. Does that mean the train will also stop at Barajas T4 and I can board the train from there even though it leaves from Puerta de Atocha? I know it probably goes from one station to the other just clutching at straws here. Or does anybody reckon I would make it to the train station in time from the airport?? AAlex
Looking for some pretty urgent advice if anyone can help please. Basically our flights are booked to Reus airport and we're really struggling with car hire, none of us have a credit card and it seems nowhere will accept debit cards. I've looked online for train times and there doesn't seem to be any going to Benicassim either. We need Tuesday 11th - Tuesday 18th and the only option at the moment appears to be a very, very expensive transfer from the airport which we simply can't afford. What options do you think we have, does anyone know of a rental car service that accept debit cards? Do Benicassim offer bus transfers? I've spent the last two hours looking into this and I'm running out of options. EDIT - I 'think' we may have found a car hire company but can't contact them until tomorrow now. But if anyone has any recommendations of other ways of getting there incase this goes Pete Tong it which be much appreciated Edited June 4, 2017 by alexlloyd
Beefy
We managed to get a private transfer from Reus to Beni on the Tuesday - 8 of us for £200. Think it was with these http://www.viajesalameda.com/

Tarragona the closest main town, just a short cab journey from Reus airport.
