Hadfield Blue
Having attended KC2016 and been disappointed with the number of facilities provided by Club Class, can anyone advise what facilities are provided in Emperor Fields? Would I be right to assume that if staying in Emperor Fields there is no need to upgrade further to Club Class (not for me but for the wife who likes a proper toilet!) Thanks for your help in advance

Thanks for your help in advance If shitting from a height into a wheelie bin is a proper toilet then no need to upgrade to club class . Emperor was all about easy set up being closer to your car and a more relaxed camp . There is showers there is a good place it's ok . But if your wanting porcelain toilets you still need club class I would say.
Curlygirl
What Lochland5 says! Showers have Q's unless you go stupidly early or late at night. Toilets are compost loos. Perks are a field away from your car and real chips!

However, the 30,000 mAh powerbank did two phones all weekend and still had charge!
bexj
Having done one Emporer field and one in the shire, really for me there's little advantage for paying the extra money. Apart from the short distance from car to campsite.

SFW
We have booked Emperors Fields but our friends are going in the campervan. Will we be able to access the vehicle area and vice-versa?
Tug life
Keep this to yourself, but the family camp (by whatever name) is what emporers is supposed to be (except the car parking bit). Loads of space and friendly neighbours. I had friends who arrived in emporers on Friday to find the only space to pitch was by the fence in what was once a fire lane. We had the same issue although we stopped in the Great Holmes field, but some of the others stopped in the Emporers field, and came to visit us in the GH field - they said it wasnt worth the money staying in the Emporers field and should have just got the same tickets as us.
