Dogs?

Asking for a friend who's scared of dogs...

I've heard that there's generally police dogs at the train station though rarely anywhere else. Anybody know whether this is the case or not?

normally at the train station yeh, very occasionally going down the river and VERY rarely going along the lines to get in.

Ah I see, what's the coverage at the station usually like? Is it strict or just like a show of force? At culture clash the dog didn't get anything

only seen it once as I normally drive, that time they had a couple at door with people stopping them just past them

They have calmed down with the dogs at the station the last couple of years, however you never know. If you really intent on avoiding the Thames Valley Police Petting Zoo  an option is to go to platform 2 when you arrive at Reading Station and take the train to Reading West station. It's a 3 min journey get off at the first stop then it's a 15 minute walk to the red entrance from there

Like Ebola said, I haven't seen our fluffy friends for a few years now. Better to be safe than sorry though.
