Think The 1975 are nailed on and LDR looks pretty likely too. Long shot for 3rd headliners Foo Fighters. No one seems to know and they have nothing booked that weekend. Everyone reckons Obelisk Airlines relates to Glastonbury but perhaps it doesn't.....

I really doubt it's the Foo Fighters. They're too big and they do seem nailed on for Glastonbury, with the "secret" gig this evening and all.

yeah the Foos wouldn't fit a festival which has literal blocks of seating surrounding the main stage, far too loud and boisterous

it wasn't always the case! i think there was two years on the trot a while back where their sponsors (uncut and word magazines) leaked the lineup early! possibly because of this they're extra cautious now.

haim played third from top in 2014, not sure they've got much bigger since then to warrant headlining. though having said that, they do appear to have been given a big slot at reading/leeds

I think LDR has the one or two big singles that Haim are missing

i was thinking four tet might stand a decent chance as 6music headliner given he's a regular at field day and we now have one of field day's bookers at latitude. he doesn't seem to be doing many live appearences this year though so might not be the case.

i know they'd previously said they wouldnt be doing festivals this year, but with this news and albarn's links with latitude i really wouldnt be shocked if gorillaz were our mysterious third headliner....

I have a feeling about Royal Blood headlining, they have only 1 UK date, European dates around latitude time (BBK Bilbao the weekend before). Then they were not announced for Reading this morning holding on to them to be announced later so they can sell tickets for a possible UK tour or another festival latitude?! BBK Bilbao has a lot of acts that could be on the Latitude line-up (Fleet Foxes, The 1975, cabbage)

if it wasn't for the 1975 thing, i'd think royal blood could be plausible. i can't see them having two newish bands doing their first headline slot though, it's normally one on the friday night slot. also as they still only have the one album i don't think that warrants a headline slot. could possibly be a mainstage sub?

Give it a year and they'll do the Friday night headliner I think, especially with a new album out. They'll probably do R+L this year and then take the next year off

I get the idea Rob Da Bank tried to book Gorillaz for bestival because he said that they aren't doing festivals. Would be quite shitty for them to lie to him, so I'm not convinced.
