New Reading Festival goer. Please help

Hi All, 

 

First time at Reading this weekend but only for Saturday with a day ticket! Absolutely gutted not to be attending the full weekend but circumstances wouldn't allow me too. 

 

Now, I am travelling up from London and have noticed that the last train back from Reading into London at the end of the Festival is 00:04!? And after looking at the set times, RHCP end at 23:30! What the fuck? 

The first train back from Reading the following morning is 5:54 which I would be happy to get if I am able to continue the Festival with my mates with weekend tickets after all the bands have finished? I read somewhere that I cant enter the silent disco tent with a day ticket wristband. Is this correct? Is there anything else to do? 

 

Could I possibly go back to the tent with them, chill out for a bit with a few beers then get the first train home?

You can also head back to the camp with your mates and chill out there too. You won't be able to enter the arena the next day though

I was in the same position as you in 2014, just walked straight into the campsite with the rest of my mates without any trouble, as long as you're fairly sneaky about it and travel in the middle of a large group you'll be fine then just stroll out the next morning when you like
