Incredible festival, went this year. Had an amazing time.

for those going next year, the festival is incredible. The ONLY negatives you need to be prepared for:

1. Not being able to take bottle caps in for your water (mental). sneak them in your pants or wallet or something if you wish to keep hydrated.

2. Getting back, its not fun imo. make sure you have uber and book an uber on your phone when you are walking out. DONT wait at the taxi rank or get the shuttle back. it takes a stupid amount of time.

3. Im hoping they take on board advice from this year. If they dont, there is a hidden set of toilets next to the heineken stage behind some trees. The amount of people trying to get to the main toilets is crazy.

No shuttle busses or a few late trains that go to the citycentre?

There is a train. Leaves every half hour. But you have to go over the bridge of doom to get it. It's a good old walk.

Nah, i don't think so. Although Snow Patrol are quite popular in Portugal, they're not "that" popular to be headliners

Even better if that's the case, I'm hoping for The Killers, Kasabian or at a push Arctic Monkeys (Doubt they will tour this summer mind )

Could be The Strokes. They haven't been in Portugal since 2011.

Really hope that they're going to choose an headliner that does not share dates with the Mad Cool Festival. Though the Foo's choice was great, KOL and Green Day are quite dispensable for me

Somehow, I don't see Strokes headlining NOS, but in Super Bock Super Rock. However, I bloody hope that I am wrong!

No kings of Leon then, I'm probably the only person a bit disappointed by that. The third headliner has to be someone not announced European dates as of yet. Money is on The Killers

NOS Alive would be quite early for The Killers. Mark said the album will be released not before april/may. But they haven't done a lot yet, so I think it will be later. I think we'll see them at festivals late July or August

That's a sign that GNR are coming to Lisbon, there won't be at NOS Alive. The only festival they might be playing is Graspop Metal Meeting in Belgium.

It's not even a sign that they're coming to Lisbon. In the Netherlands we had ads playing on buildings in 4 different cities: The Hague, Amsterdam, Breda and Rotterdam. Not a chance they'll even play 4 shows over here
