But the fact that haven't confirmed or denied this fake alive2017 website makes me think that they do have something in the pipeline. But it is just nothing relating to this bastard of a website. Grasping at straws I think. It's a website not connected in any way to DP. The fact that they didn't acknowledge it means nothing.

They don't actually have to tour though. I know it's a scam for the punter but easy enough to put two blokes on stage in their helmets. Who's going to know? CaledonianGonzo
If word got out it'd be game over - and you've got to assume that they've got enough integrity to not do it. No reason they couldn't be upfront and draft in someone like DJ Falcon as a 'new' robot, though. Chemical Brothers were just Chemical Brother for a while. Homer
I think we're skipping the real issue here: why would someone be sad enough to set this site up in the first place? I'm no big Daft Punk fan, but people like this deserve a minor shoeing surely.

The vague Daft Punk sound is the best bit of these songs. I'm not overly enthusiastic about this collaboration, but hey ho, I'm sure they're having fun. EighteenSixty7
I like that but I'm not a fan of the other track he released. My expectations for this album are now significantly lower.
blackg1000
This just went up on Youtube, it says January 1st for the upload date but I suspect it was private until recently. Real or fake? It's got a lot of people talking. Reddit forum discussing:

JSmurphy
I think it's a fake, but a convincing one. A clever clogs in the YouTube comments decoded the code in the video's description to find a bunch of different locations worldwide. These are identical to Daft Punk's tour dates in Alive 2007, including a date at Statford-upon-Avon, which Daft Punk certainly wouldn't play in 2017 since Global Gathering is no more. Not that convincing since you've just debunked it right there! No way they'll play Straftford Upon Avon so definitely fake.

Also the same art as Alive 2007, which seems a bit unlikely for a tour 10 years on

mjsell
if Dante's inferno was modernised for todays world, a circle of hell should be reserved for those that spread false daft punk live rumours. It really is a nice looking fake though. Dickheads. Edited January 11, 2017 by mjsell

Homer
People who do this kind of thing really need to be taken into a cave and shot in the back of the head. Just for being such a pointless twat (I'm not even a Daft Punk fan).
