Agreed, it's great to have something a bit more out of the ordinary - almost takes me back to early Tramlines when DiS used to curate the Barker's Pool stage. -

I thought the first two post-reunion Pixies albums were the best, though still pretty average and not a touch on anything from the original incarnation. If memory serves, they didn't play anything from them at EotR in 2022. It was a greatest hits set, with a few from the new album at the time, the aptly-titled Doggerel. And nobody was there for those tracks. I have listened to the new album once. That was enough. -

I honestly think it will be packed on Friday, with people getting in early to get a good spot for Pulp, and a good proportion will enjoy the support acts. One thing that has often been a bit odd with Tramlines is that they seem to target different audiences across the 3 days, which can feel a bit disjointed across the whole weekend, but works well for the day trippers. This was really noticeable last year, and the Saturday was out of step, and less well attended. I feel there may be an element of that again this year, albeit 3 very popular acts in their own way, and almost everyone wants to see Pulp! -
