The Prodigy, Richard Ashcroft and more added to Northside.

I don't see The Prodigy for BKS but Ashcroft could fit well.

Black Grape are supporting him on his UK tour. Now I'd love to see them rock up at BKS. Very rarely do European festivals though.

Dj Shadow, Arca, Anderson Paak, Soulwax for Sonar.

All of them very interesting.

Yes!  Soulwax are around. Always one of my top picks for any festival. If we get them and Royksopp I will be a very happy man.

Anderson Paak is a surprise inclusion.

A quick question - just wonder if anyone has any first hand experience. I'm gonna be in Amsterdam a couple of days before the festival and I have a flight back from Schiphol on Monday evening.

Now I've read all the official info on the BKS webpage there is regarding transport and what I can make out is:

Option a) Take the organised EventTravel bus from Amsterdam,

b ) take the train to Tilburg and then the shuttle to the festival site

I'm leaning towards b, as both cost pretty much the same but the train is more comfortable and flexible. Has anyone done this, do I not know something I should :D ? Any info much aprreciated.

We stayed in Amsterdam before and after the festival last year. Getting the train is really easy and there were plenty of options time wise. The shuttle bus to the festival from Tilburg is right outside the station.

We are doing the same this year, fly to Amsterdam on Thursday and spend the day / night there. Get the train to Tilburg on Friday and then back on Monday. We are having Monday night in Amsterdam too, fly back to the UK on the Tuesday and go straight to Glastonbury...!

Train is easy. About 75 mins from Amsterdam with one change. This site will tell you all you need to know about train times etc.: http://www.ns.nl/en

Kasabian were just announced for Inmusic as one of their headliner.

That makes things interesting. Surely they'll be the R+L headliner announced this week.

Not everyone's cup of tea but I'd be over the moon if they were at BKS.

They are (R+L), and also confirmed for Metronome (a week after BKS, a few days after inMusic).

Looking more and more likely?

(I too would be extatic)

Fingers crossed. There's probably a handful of bands we could whittle it down to and of course it depends on how big they're gonna go with the budget. Kasabian seems the obvious choice to me or maybe Richard Ashcroft

Firefly announce full line up at 3pm gmt tomorrow which will exclude a few names
