Live-in vehicle questions

This will be our 4th year at KC and this time around we're doing it in style !! We've hired a motorhome and have a live-in ticket. A couple of questions if anybody can help . . .

1) Friends of ours are camping, are they able to join us at our vehicle when and as they please ? or do you get wristbands or something to prove you're in a live-in vehicle ?

2) Does anybody know how big the pitch that you get is ? My camping friends would want to pitch their tent next to our motorhome if possible ?

3) What is the access like at the live-in vehicle entry point ? We haven't decided on a driver yet ( nobodys too keen lol ) and just hoping that it's a straight forward entry point and not too many narrow windy roads like at the general camping entrance !

Thanks :-)

We have a motor home this year as well, I think you get a certain amount of space for your motorhome which you should be able to find on the website. Last year me and the mrs had a tent and my friends had a motorhome and there was no problem with us camping there just as long as you stick to your space.

As said earlier you should be able to find the size of the pitch you get on KC's website.

Can't comment on the last one sorry mate as I didn't go that way last year.

We stayed in the live in vehicle field for the first time last year. Hope this helps.

1. Yes friends can join you. There is no wristband given to those in the live in vehicle. You and friends can come and go as you please.

2. Pitches are 7m x 7m according to the KC website. Reality is a little more flexible! When we arrived there was a steward waving vehicles into pitches though they are not clearly marked. We just checked with those either side of us how much room everyone needed (for awnings etc...) and left enough space. It worked well and everyone was happy.  We had bags of room.

Friends can camp on your pitch too.

3. Getting on the site was pretty straightforward. We only have a VW van but there were plenty of motor homes and caravans on site.

Have a lovely festival. :D
