Waaaahh?

That's the MVP on a Young setlist.  Version on Weld is off the hook.

Good jam but personally I can take or leave it. That said, I don't doubt that Shakey could transform even the most middling album track into a bit of a monster live.

Kanye did pretty much all the hits at G15 tbf. Flashing Lights, Through The Wire and maybe Love Lockdown are the only other hits I can think of that he left out

Was gutted he didn’t do Flashing Lights, probably my favourite Kanye tune. Was a welcome treat to hear I Wonder though, underrated gem off of Graduation for me.

I saw him at the IOW that summer. Awful festival all round (bar headliners), but that performance would have gone down brilliantly at Glastonbury.

No doubt. The July ‘12 shows particularly will go down as the best of his later career.

2013?

Think I saw him at a rainy Hyde Park in 2012 (the gig where Macca came on and they pulled the plug) but it seemed to be the following year when he'd built up the biggest head of steam.

13 was good (saw 5 shows) but that previous summer jaunt, from Paris to Helskinki was elite Bosstime. Hyde Park in the rain w/ shit from the council not withstanding.

Lindsey Buckingham has had open heart surgery, a procedure that has  damaged his vocal chords, possibly permanently. From FM’s point of view, their current touring set up was a good call.

Hmm. I’d like to think they won’t be patting themselves on the back about their longtime band mate having open heart surgery.

Yeah...I seem to recall.  Incident on 57th Street lingers longer in the mind though.

That and the last Scottish appearance from the Big Man ?

I had a very pleasant 25 minute conversation with Big C in a Chinese herbal shop in Dublin before. Great guy. That was 2003 ish and he wasn't in great shape then.

The person that brought that sign needs to get the freedom of Scotland.
