FloorFiller
Seeing her at Primavera so won’t bother with these shows, but can’t argue with the price if they’re all around that amount.
jyoung
Any word on the other dates?
Gilgamesh69
Considering the size of the venues she's doing, I really can't see her having a that significant slot at Glasto. As in, I doubt she's gonna be a Pyramid sub or other headliner

Usually if a rogue Edinburgh/Glasgow show appears it's because it's out of the radius clause of a southern festival – which I'm presuming will be All Points East given she's played before. I'd be surprised if there was anything more extensive than that in the UK.
BFisherr
I think we'll have a lot more information very soon, she hinted a release/announcement of something on her website yesterday with a new short video called solstice (which is today). Pre-sale for the US show is listed as 24th June and 5th July for NZ shows. Exact dates could be wrong, but feels like it'll be in the near future. jparx
Wow really surprised at those venue choices. Yeah yeah she’s not that big, Melodrama did this and that in the charts etcetc, but you’d think she’d sell a decent chunk of tickets at arenas. Not that I care - Lorde in these venue will be next level! The National played similar level venues to these after they subbed Glastonbury, so I’d still say that’s on the cards. To honor the natural world the artist is presenting the album in a first-of-its kind, discless format. An eco-conscious Music Box will be available for purchase as an alternative to a CD. This innovative offering will contain extra visual content, handwritten notes, exclusive photos, and a download card. The card will give purchasers a high-quality download of the music, two exclusive bonus tracks, and access to some special surprises along the way. When talking about the concept Lorde says, “I decided early on in the process of making this album that I also wanted to create an environmentally kind, forward-thinking alternative to the CD. I wanted this Music Box product to be similar in size, shape and price to a CD, to live alongside it in a retail environment, but be something which stands apart and that’s committed to the evolving nature of a modern album.” Edited June 21, 2021 by Suprefan

Yeah I thought the venues looked odd. Would have thought she could have shifted plenty at, say, Wembley Arena, pretty comfortably. Maybe it a conscious decision to play smaller venues. Maybe the bigger ones are all already booked out next year…

She couldnt even sell out LA last time and had Run The Jewels opening.
