That’s right.
You can maintain your ‘7 in 7’ in exactly the same way with the ‘21 points’. system. The difficulty is that if you can only do one festival a year, you can no longer maintain your points with Glastonbury. You can only maintain your priority points with other festivals.
2+ festivals a year people are unaffected.
One thing that may help those who can only do Glastonbury, might be that there’ll be less people with priority in the new system, & it’ll go back to being easy(er) to get an Oxfam place at Glastonbury without priority.
That tends to be the way it works, but no way they're announcing more acts only 10 days after announcement two. So, if they do announce anything (and I'm not sure they will) then I guess it's going to be festival related rather than act related.
Great spot, assume thats a slip and they need to wait for The Waterfront show in March to pass before announcing another show in the area.
Although Waterfront date sold out out a while ago so not much need to hold off
On the 2 year rule I think yeah. For me it's seems that topping up 3 points per year for the next two years from my current 21 would keep me I each year?
For 2027 - "Accrued 21 points in the previous 7 years
(2020-2026)"
