Bottom line; people respond to personalities and make opinions on what they hear.

The prevailing narrative is that Theresa May is "strong and stable" the partisan media perpetuates this myth completely; despite her record of being laughably incompetent as a cabinet minister and prime minister. Average Joe reckons Theresa May is a good boss for the country.

The prevailing narrative is that barmy Jeremy is a scruffy, shambolic herbert, who couldn't find his arse with both hands. All the nice things he wants to do that would benefit you; you can't have them because planes would fall out of the sky and every building would instantly set on fire and every book every would turn spontaneously into The Communist Manifesto. Average Joe thinks Jeremy Corbyn would be a bad boss for the country.

The fact that so many people can't understand that the newspapers have an agenda which suits their millionaire owners and not the readers frustrates me to the extent that I feel like nailing my balls to a plank.

Nah, fuck off Dimblebo. It won't be a hung parliament, there's got to be something wrong there. A lifetime of disappointment with elections has taught me not to get my hopes up for this sort of thing. It'll be Tory business as usual, fucking us all over. It makes me very very very sad, but I can only see a bastard Tory majority again, and unmitigated Brexit disaster, the end of the NHS, and grammar schools to piss all over what laughable excuse for social mobility we have left.

Ay but there's a Greggs drive-thru opening in Irlam so it's not all bad.

exit polls were correct last time weren't they ?

20 odd short for the Tories. If they're that wrong this time, it's the difference between a majority and potentially hung parliament.

George Osborne on ITV has said that the word is that it may be worse than the exit polls are predicting; young voter turn out has been significant.

He quoted from a Tory candidate standing in a university area. I just hope the polls are accurate, a huge bloody nose for the witch. Could end up being a total cluster fuck of a government. Loving also that the snp appear to have lost seats.

fuck knows how this is going to play out; exciting times
