Don't vote Tory

I'm all for the exit poll being on target, but hoping for better, much better.  I feel that the young vote and switch to Labour from disenchanted voters UKIP had previously picked up is going to make a big difference in this election.

If the result is better than the exit poll I'm going to be un-fucking-bearable.

Can someone explain to an outsider what outcomes a hung parliament could lead to?

The last one resulted in a Tory / Lib Dem coalition.  Lord knows what this one would result in as there is no way the Lib Dems would be getting into bed with the tories again.  In fact I don't think there are any parties that will be willing to form a coalition with the Tories right now.

The Tories get first dibs on forming a coalition, but if they can't then the minority parties might be able to form one (the so-called Progressive Alliance)

Jack shit getting done for a few months...! A lot of compromises to be made; especially interesting given impending Brexit negotations

A coalition between parties to form a majority

In which case for those labour folk watching, we're going to have to route for the snp, because otherwise those seats fall to the tories

Cheers, everyone. Interesting. If Lib Dems are anything like our liberals in Germany it seems unlikely they would go with Labour but seeing that they campaigned for a second referendum it's equally implausible they would go with Tories.

Yep. I almost didn't look at the exit polls fearing the worst but not now.

Regardless of the final results in seats, I think the popular vote figures are going to be so, well, unexpected.

On policy, the Lib Dems are far closer to Labour than the Conservatives here.

Whatever happens from here, Theresa May has made one of the most monumental fuck ups in political history. Couldn't have happened to a nicer woman.

All we need is a double sacking with Corbyn following right behind her and we have perfect result.

Did I hear that Amber Rudd's seat is in danger? If she loses hers, I will wet myself... ha ha!

Yep, that's what the BBC said earlier.  Could be another Michael Portillo moment.

I'm intrigued what the result of Diane Abbot's constituency will be.  Surely she has to go too?
