Don't vote Tory

Just wow. It was the worse possible result for the country in regards to being split and how we deal with Brexit. Yet it is a result which confirms that common decency, morals and principals are still present in this country.

Fuck off May, fuck off the Tories and fuck off Murdoch. You have tried to tear this country apart for your own benefit. Thankfully enough of us have seen through the bollocks you have spouted.

Tonight when I go and see Depeche Mode and they start with their Going Backwards tune,  I will raise my beer and bust a cheeky smile as I know that is not true. People have responded and stopped us being dragged over the abyss.

Strong and Stable :rofl::rofl:

Tories will just prop themselves up with the DUP won't they? Who're an equally despicable bunch

Irrelevant. Your're hardly strong and stable if you're using a minor party that only runs in one of your smallest countries to get votes through.

Whatever the result, no one can now deny Corbyn and labour have had an amazing campaign.

I can't - and so congratulations to him. He did better than even his most loyal supporters thought would be the case (as can be seen by posts here yesterday), so it wasn't only those with issues about Corbyn that got it wrong.

And likewise, no one can deny that May had a shit campaign, which is no less relevant to Corbyn's success than his own doings.

And just about everyone called it wrong. It's much more about remain and leave than anyone might have thought, and the working classes don't seem to have been much taken by Labour.

And most sadly of all, it's still a loss, and losing is losing.

But Corbyn has managed to change things from what they were, so hopefully there might be some benefit from that for the country.

As the Chinese might say, we live in interesting times. :)

Yep, Jeffery Donaldson is a cock and Arlene Foster is, well there are no words.

and even Corbyn's team didn't believe a word of what yougov were saying.

To be fair, I was calling them out on their methodology and I understand methodology. Overall it did agree, but on a micro scale there were issues.

They definitely started thinking they were screwed a few days ago- there was a noticeable slump in morale among the most pro Corbyn media (novara, Owen Jones etc). A really great surprise!

Am struggling now. Hoping Tories don't get the three they need to just jump in with dup but it won't happen.

They definitely will get those three, but I don't get what policies they're going to implement

Effectively they've already got enough to jump into bed with the DUP. Sinn Fein have made significant gains and now hold 7 seats. They never take those seats, lowering the bar to 319.

What a mess. A hung parliament is the worse possible result for the UK regardless of who is the largest party. I think May will have to go (probably forced out in a couple of months or so) and then another election?
