How do we get from the Castle Cary Station to the site?
Is there a shuttle bus that they provide? if yes, what gate will the bus goes to?

Also, how long will it take approximately if i arrive at the station on wednesday midday to get in the site?

There's a free shuttle to Gate A.

It should take you about 20-30 minutes driving time but there's a lot that can disrupt that, as anyone who went last year knows. What could potentially take much longer are the queues at Castle Cary. You might walk off the train to find barely anyone there or you could find that there's a massive queue.

I'd allow an hour to get to the site and give or take half an hour either way.

@musky is correct and you have to be prepared for a wait

I had to go out one year and drove past that station and the holding area was chock a block - now how quickly that lot was cleared I don't have a clue and I also don't know when the next train was arriving - then you have the basic traffic flow which is never easy to predict as so many things can affect it.

You can be lucky or unlucky - and until the actual day you wont know for certain.

sadly this video only shows a brief glimpse of the outside area but you will see how busy it gets.

I have done this for years. If you join the queue on Monday morning around 5-5.30 am you should be fine. The shuttle queue quickly grows from about 6am and gets busier and busier. I've always got that early shuttle and train to get back home to Southampton for about 10am. This year though I'm thinking of waiting till late afternoon. Things should be quite quiet then. Anyway, that's enough of my yakkin :)
