I checked out Rudimental as the other headliners were, for me, dreadful.
I was prepared to abandon WH and head to the SE corner, but as it turned out Rudimental we’re great.
Without exception every one I know who went to Elton out of curiosity, or believed the rumours of an Eminem/Brittney appearance, or just wanted to look at the huge crowd, said he was dreadful.
Including one of my best friends daughters who left early, passed WH on the way back, and said to me on the following morning “I really wish I’d gone to Rudimental instead”.
I booked it becasue we're arriving by coach on Thursday and I didn't want to be late and have to struggle to find a place for the tents. For me it's worth it just to avoid the hassle of finding a free pitch and to have more time to enjoy the festival!
Japanese Breakfast has just announced new album and 2025 tour - no Belgian date, also playing DTRH the same weekend - guess the chances for RW are quite high.
