Crazyfool01
This year as previous years I have no doubt that we will be put in the furthest pink car parks from gate A , Is there any reason why we can't get on our push bikes when we hit the main road pedestrian crossing and miss out quite a bit of the off road walk , the plan is to cycle along the main road and enter where the busses enter ? with bikes and trailers .. I know it will be busy ( and providing my friend gets his bike repaired ) will this gain us anything ?
pie_and_a_pint
You can leave your bikes in the lockups once you're on site, so it's a pretty good idea. Even better, assuming you arrive on Wednesday morning, you can cycle from the gate to your campsite as well, so you won't have to lug all of your kit. Why have we never thought of this... Expand yep thats what we do ... just trying to work out if cycling down the main road and cutting off a corner and joining the bus queues will be of benefit ? rather than joining the car park queues at gate A and going through all the fields to gate A
guypjfreak
I think they might need a bigger bike lock up if this idea takes off lol.. Great thinking tho.. Not sure having bikes riding around site is a great idea.. Maybe I'm old

Not so good in the worse type of m**, but very beneficial the rest of the time. I work in the very south west and often want to visit the very north east. Often you have to push it in the crowded bits, but the open spaces, especially going downhill, it really saves the legs / feet ache.

Maybe I'm old Expand im a considerate bike rider Old son will slow down and get off if necessary , they store bikes and trailers in the standard lockups ... could do with a few more cyclists on site .. if you see the immaculate way they leave their camping field is anything to go by .do I need to add some crazyfool flashing wire to it ? Bought 5 years ago for £20 and only ever suffered from nail punctures. The seat is far too low for me and I can't be bothered to get a longer seat post. Combine this with cycling in wellies is not that great either.

Deaf Nobby Burton
I saw somebody with a bike trying to navigate round the other stage in the Sunday, it looked to be a pretty fruitless task.
