I would have expected Annie Mac (prominent on the line up poster) to be playing in Silver Hayes (home of Radio 1 stage)... But not there. 

I'd be surprised if she played The Common, plus JPT and Park don't really fit....

I guess maybe Beat Hotel... OR heading up the new late night Saxon stage?!!??!?1!

2. Why are people interested in seeing acclaimed drone bomber, Obama, speak to them about feigned peace and prosperity?

dunno, maybe of the main stages, but i'm sure there are plenty of smaller stages/tents that he hasn't played in though.

i doubt he has played the Acoustic, Avalon, Los Artistas Bohemios, etc!

What worse about a drone bomber than a jet bomber? And are the people who are pissed off my his use of drones annoyed by the use of military force period in the regions, or drones specifically?

 

Genuine question. I would have though drones have the benefit of taking away risk to human life on the US side, and they remove the possibilities of being accused of trying to 'invade' or 'grab assets' etc associated with ground troops. Is the main issue people have that the use of drones makes attacks too easy, and therefore easier to order without really giving a shit about the consequeneces?

It's not so much that he used drones - as he used plenty of jets too - but that the west seems to view him quite favourably when he was as destructive as his predecessors he was just more charming in the process. People wouldn't go see a Bush Jr tour would they?

Don't get me wrong, on a personal level I'm sure he's lovely, charming and I'd have a pint with him but would I want to go see him preach to me? Not really. I think he goes against the values of the festival and the charities it works for. He's no Dalai Lama. 

Anyway, I fear we'll veer too far away from the true meaning of this thread - wild speculation - so I won't continue. I just don't really understand why he's venerated.
