Tarmac the railway line and roads off it , certain pinch point become clogged in the mud and a proper road would help .

I'd rather just hand out neon plastic stuff to strangers. Tarmacing the railway line seems a lot to ask of people. Also, could be tricky once everyone is there.

Someone gave me an  anti-histamine tablet for the wicked Hay Fever I was suffering when I first got to the festival...helped me get my shit together to seek out my own packet.

Little thing made a lot of difference to me.

(So yeah, give out non prescription drugs to passers by you may think might need them...brilliant)

Hello semmtexx,

I'm afraid that my dancing days are over. All I have left are some ambiguous memories of having once been able to hold my own (as it were!) on the dance floor. Boy, could I throw some shapes. lol

Away from the dance floor, I'd say that I was a determined but demented loon, who likes to play. :)

Hahaha! I've been told I look like a demented monkey on the dance floor! We should throw some shapes together!

I see where you are coming from - safety in numbers on the dance floor. You do the demented monkey dance, and I'll rock, ever so slightly, from side to side. Hopefully we'll not be noticed by the urgent psychiatric intervention team.

From my side: I'd not feel confident putting any cash on it!

Yup

I remember watching that video year's back before I was really comfortable with myself dancing and being absolutely amazed at the power one guy could have by doing just that.

I always wanted to be that type of person as a teen, and then it just kind of happened during my early 20s. There's no better feeling than dancing, and other people joining in and just 'getting it', at Glasto most of all.

100% agree Mr Alien. And good to hear you found the confidence!

Oh, and the obvious one.  Hugs.  Lots of hugs.  Hug people. Hug strangers during euphoric dancing / bouncing / singing moments. Unless they don't want to be hugged.  Then maybe not so much. Perhaps a fist bump.

Last year my friend and I met this amazing guy (who was enormous...like 6'6 and 280lbs) because she told him he looked like he'd be great at hugs. He was... lifelong friendship ensues. Her opening line was to ask him if he was an accountant:rofl: she was pretty disappointed when he said no as she was convinced everyone there was actually an accountant. If you got asked if you are an accountant, I'm sorry. I'm sure she'll be asking this year as well!

Met a similar sized fella at a Levellers gig last year.  He was stood about 15 feet away from the front barrier with his arms outstretched and was basically acting as a solo crush barrier.  Never seen a man get so many hi fives on his way out of the gig!

The guy we met is really something...last year he crossed the Atlantic Ocean on a (fancy) rowboat with a team of 5 other guys. Right now the same guy is crossing the Gobi dessert on foot and is carrying all of his supplies on a cart that he drags. I was a bit bummed he won't be at glasto this year because my friend and I had plans of getting pulled around the festival on a cart. Guess we'll have to stumble around like everyone else.

I have every digit and appendage available crossed that I Am Kloot appear on the bill somewhere.

That would please my mrs no end and I can happily sit and have a cider listening to John's bad jokes

I can't help but feel my point is being missed somewhat.

Is it really just me that envisages them coming on and saying "we are I Am Kloot" only for @strangegoose to respond with "I am Groot" and an endless loop to develop that traps us all in a Glastonbury-based limbo?

To be fair it probably is just me.

Fantastic band. They played the other in 2013 too.

H.M.V, John Bramwell played a solo set at the Brewery in Kendal last year. He did a lot of Kloot stuff. Great night.

That was an ace gig. (although I must correct you and say they subbed Neville Staple band).

Dammit, I had a feeling I'd gotten it wrong. Should have checked first. Apologies Scruff for my oversight.
