Honestly, I don’t know what Dan Carter is thinking. It’s gonna end up that Pup, Fidlar, Basement, TSSF will have their crowds ruined by clashing with Foo’s, Royal Blood, ADTR, Shikari etc, but then the day with no pretty much no rock bands on the main stages they’ve filled the Pit with soundcloud rappers, who’ll probably lose a big portion of their own crowd being up against rappers on the other stages. I don’t even have beef with Ghostemane headlining cause his album is essentially a hardcore record, but with Paris, Smokeasac and Teddy, come on Dan mate. What are you doing?

It’s good for me, I’d much rather see TOP than RB and won’t miss Pup

I don’t want to sound like a miserable bastard, but the Foo’s day selling out first doesn’t prove shit. They’ve been one of the biggest bands on earth for about 20 years, they were always going to sell it out first. Hardly something worth celebrating.

Yup, I want a Sunday ticket which I think is a totally different market to that. Obviously young fans do like Foos and probably ADTR but if I was 20 now I don't think I'd who who The Distillers are....I'm unsure what crowd they'll get tbf

Saw Sundara Karma on Saturday. Absolutely phenomenal, though the clash with foos (potentially) is so bad. New songs are so fresh especially live, they always put on a good show

anyone else think that Circa Waves and Billie Eilish should both be mainstage. Circa Waves are the perfect outdoor band and Billie Eilish is gonna be near impossible to see in that tent

I agree completely. One of my best memories of 2017 was sitting in the sun watching circa waves on the main stage and I don’t even like them. And I think Billie Eilish should be on the main stage because she is one of the most in demand artists at the moment and she could potentially clash with post malone who shares a similar fan base to her

I disagree with circa waves. They’ll have a class atmosphere in that tent and you don’t hear them so much on radio one these days (compared to 2017 when they were on constantly).

Seeing them on Wednesday in Birmingham. Always found them great in venues but a bit shit at festivals after seeing them at 2 gigs and 2 fests. Will probably watch them again at Reading anyway though.

Does anyone know if you’re allowed to go to Picadilly/Relentless and the silent disco with a day ticket? And if you’re allowed to stay over with a day ticket? asking for a friend because obviously i’m doing Wednesday to Monday

for obvious reasons you won’t be able to stay over with a DAY ticket, it’s use is for one day.. you’ll be able to enter the arena at 11am and then will be allowed to remain until the arena closes. i’ve never had a day ticket but i imagine it’s not impossible to exit the arena into the campsite though it’s most likely very easy but i know the day ticket band is easier to spot by the stewards so there is the risk of being caught

Not sure about Leeds but at Reading there are a few certain checkpoints in the campsites where your asked to show your weekend wristband to go any further. Think it's the same leaving the arena to begin with. I assume it's the same at Leeds.
