I think the third down predictions were definitely too high, but fourth or fifth down would probably still be a good fit. I'm really interested to see how they change in the next few years, I guess we'll see what they can do without a very toxic label trying to control their careers.

I can honestly see it being a similar case to Broco last year and being quite a few slots below what everyone's predicted for whatever reason. Yeah it'll be interesting for sure.

Listening to the new TOP album. Some great tracks on it and have mixed things up a bit. would love to see them headline R/L next year.

What’s the speculation so far on them for R/L 2019?

They are supposedly headlining - along with The 1975 and Foo Fighters - according to someone who has given us good info in the past.

I know it's just Cardiff and I haven't looked at how the other venues have sold but how have BMTH not sold out the Motorpoint if Mumford and Sons have?

BMTH ain't headlining shit.

What does this even mean? Of course Mumford and Sons are more likely to sell out an arena than BMTH, they're a massive, mainstream band and major festival headliners.

Let me re-phrase; why are people calling for BMTH to headline if they can't sell out an arena of less than 8000?

I only picked Mumfords as a comparison because of a Facebook post telling me it had sold out already. I'm sure the tour wasn't even announced two weeks ago and, having now looked it up, I totally forgot they even had an album out in 2015. Last thing I remember them doing was Babel. They're way bigger currently than I thought they were when I made that post, I assumed they'd dropped off.

Just seen this article by NME about Foo Fighters taking a break after there last few shows and before doing a new album. Grohl said that they will be doing a new album and going backon the road in thw future but that his ready for a break after 1 and a half years of touring. Could this make them unlikely for R&L now?

They're in Europe next summer, but I think that's early summer so far, which might rule them out on it's own.

They did come over to the UK to play a pub last year so I don't think it'd rule them out. I think it is more likely that they'll play fewer dates in early summer and more in August, given that they've done early summer in 2017 and 2018.

Yeah I agree that they'd be a tiny headliner; I just didn't get why you'd mentioned Mumfords. Only way I see them headlining is if they co-headline with Twenty One Pilots if FR don't think they look strong enough on their own or something.

Hilarious that earlier this year people were saying BMTH would only take outright headline. No one gives a fuck about BMTH.

Saw this earlier sad news I was really excited about that rumour
