I'm confused. I thought this batshit Bring Me the Horizon/The 1975 coheadline idea was based on BMTH's album coming out the day The 1975 tour finishes, not vice versa?

Anyway, the first headline act announced will surely be Foo Fighters, or if you don't think them then whoever else doesn't have other conflicting dates or album releases to think about. There's usually one of those and they're quite often announced first.

What I meant is I think it's still possible for 1975 to headline outright and BMTH to coheadline with someone else, not the two coheadlining together. If we don't get all 3 at once, I agree that it will be the Foo Fighters-type headliner, as you described.

And coincidentally, 1975 album comes out on the last day of Bmth tour (30 Nov) and BMTH album comes out last day of 1975's tour (25 Jan)

1975's album is out 30th November as well so I reckon you're spot on. And if BMTH are coheadlining, their tour finishes on the same date too.

With that early christmas present email teaser I posted, I reckon around this time we could definitely be seeing the first announcement. Not really sure if BMTH/1975 are the best to start with though.

They both coincided their album release dates with the end of each other's tours to signify that they're going to be announced as co-headliners.

On the day of The 1975's album release and BMTH's tour ending, they'll announce the first one.

Sponsored by McCain.

I KNEW this looked familiar! Kind of a strange announcement really, its a huge drop off from 1975 to Pale Waves and Tender.

Foals new album is definitely coming soon, I would love to see them at APE - this week the album cover art is being shot.
