I think its impossible to ignore the '0114' Instagram teaser that Mad Cool swiftly deleted. I know they released 14 new bands and a headliner, but there is no denying they knew what they were doing when they published those numbers. Its all a marketing ploy, im 99% sure after seeing that the AM will play Mad Cool, and just cant see them sharing a headliner with PS...but could be wrong. 

 

They did pretty much the exact same thing with Pearl Jam, too. Everyone expected them, then Mad Cool posted a graphic saying "TEN" to tease them, then the next day announced ten acts. Few days later they announced Pearl Jam.

Gonna be exactly the same thing with Arctic Monkeys and I assume they'll be announced on Monday.

Like them or loathe them, they are one of the biggest draws in the world in terms of bands and have been for a number of years now. Looking at that Mad Cool lineup - if they're going to play there or Primavera, my money would be on Primavera at the moment

Been pretty much confirmed by Mad Cool's community manager time and time again on the forum he posts on, and Mad Cool teased them on social media last week with the 0114 clues. Be genuinely amazed if they're not there.

With Primavera announcing on the same day that AM are supposedly dropping their European dates I wouldn't be surprised now if they're at Prima, too. Maybe that's why Mad Cool have Jack White co-headlining with them? So they have one exclusive headliner on that day?

Well yeah I'm just going by the claims, but a few people have said it and a bunch of festivals they could be at seem to be announcing on that day. Thats whu I said supposedly.

Edit: TRNSMT tier one tickets just announced to come off sale on Friday, suggesting they could also be announcing on Monday, and AM are supposedly playing there, too.

Nah, it's definitely Sting and Shaggy. Arctic Monkeys might sub for them.

(Obviously not a headlining option) Erasure have yet to announce any Spanish dates for their 2018 world tour that has a gap for European festivals in June... maybe an undercard?

So I assume Field Day will announce Mount Kimbie, Thundercat, Princess Nokia, Nils Frahm and Dr. John Cooper Clarke tomorrow. Guess we'll get most of that lot as usual.
