They've started messing about with feel good hit again! Hooray

One thing I miss about with the band is that they seem a little by the book now days, love it when they used to cut into random stuff and have fun with a few of their songs.

Dang it. A Friday night at Wembley Arena would have been preferable to a Tuesday night at the O2.

I doubt it, most really keen for tickets will already have o2 tickets so demand is likely to be lower and sales less instant. I'll keep an eye out though.

This is a godsend, missed out on LCD, QOTSA and Gorillaz tickets as didn't have the funds which I now do. This ticks one of those boxes off, plus the added bonus of it being a weekend date and at Wembley rather than the o2. Though I'd be mightily peeved as you guys are that the dates were announced in this order - surely they should have sold the weekend date first with the Tuesday date in reserve? Though the change of venue does make it seem like it has been hastily tagged on.

There's a O2 presale tomorrow from 9am. Also a D2C presale at the same time but I have no idea what D2C is tbh. £49.95 (+fees) according to ticketmaster.

I think with it being announced the way it was they must only have the 1 night available in the o2, makes sense to sell out the bigger venue first then add a smaller venue for the second night.

Agreed. Completely sucks. Hopefully they do an extra show in some tiny venue, and I somehow score tickets.

You've got to wonder why, instead of one show at a 20,000 capacity venue, they don't just do 100 shows at a 200 capacity venue.

The Clash managed 17 nights at Bonds Casino in '81 to fulfill ticket demand 

Different situation as they had sold out 5 nights at the venue which was meant to have 3500 capacity, but that was then downsized by the fire department to 1800 so the group just kept on adding extra nights until everyone who wanted to had seen them.
