Getting to the Festival, York, First timers.

Hi, Just wanted some advise, We have Saturday tickets only, We're going with our two children and wanted to know the best way to get there on the Saturday?

We live in York so we could get the train then shuttle or we could drive!

Our son is away with friends and doesn't get back till 1pm at the earliest on the Saturday so we cant set off till he gets back!!

Anyone have any advise to which would be the best way to get there? Avoiding lots of queue and stress. If hats possible. haha.

Definitely drive if possible. Much easier and you'll appreciate it come Monday. About all I can say really. You'll also get in fine that time Saturday so no problems
