I stand corrected. SBE could be of interest though. Though Birmingham would be an amusing symmetry given my only two times seeing Chvrches have been at the same Birmingham venue (well the main O2 Academy but still)

Nice hymer
I just booked tickets for Primal Scream & Baxter Dury at Bristol Beacon for less than £44 each. Seems a decent price in today's world. Can't wait! Primal Scream | Bristol Beacon

G-Mex December 2009 (my 35th Birthday), Doves supported by Super Furry's (and I think Metronomy? missed half their set 😞) is in my top 3 gigs ever. Came on for a second encore and just did an extended version of Space Face. f**king great.

Glastonbury with have Fatboy Slim, unless it's the one off be doesn't play. I think they'll play Victorious too who have shared a headliner with Glastonbury but always. I think 17, 2022 and 24 are the only one's and Fatboy this year is always at Glastonbury. I think Fatboy getting a decent slot currently is more likely. I would say West Holts but I don't think top two Other is out of sights.

Mostly disappointed that this is the only Birmingham show of Alison Goldfrapp on this tour - as the O2 club date was cancelled with no explanation. Now I'm not sure I want to go to this mostly to see the opener.

He couldn't carry a f**king tune in Les Mis, which would have had multiple takes and the best one in the edit. Jesus Mothering f**k. Stop the world. He had a highly successful UK arena tour in 2019, with many several night stands and sell outs, including the O2 and Hydro. I went and it was a great show. I guess the Greatest Showman propelled his popularity here. I'd put money on Keala Settle either supporting (as she did on some of the UK dates) or appearing (as she did on others). He's pretty well known for his singing capabilities, maybe you just know him as Wolverine?

Greatest Showman is utter w*nk and Jackman's singing in both that and Les Mis was bullshit, despite the best editing/tinkering Hollywood could offer. Genuinely baffled. He absolutely CAN hold a tune and sing very well to be fair. Don't mind at all a festival trying something different as such and simply, why not? Its one of those shows which you'd imagine include songs that actually would benefit hugely from the size of crowd BST has. Side note "which would have had multiple takes and the best one in the edit" - you mean like everything, ever? Also the swearing in your post is completely needless 😂

balti-pie
i dunno, i liked the swearing. It conveyed the absolute incredulity of Wolverine holding a gig in hyde park (i dont think ive ever seen a Hugh Jackman film, Wolverine included, i have absolutely no idea about his singing ability)
