That occurred to me too.  Thought there must be a secondary reason.  Ranking them in my mind, I'd put Supergrass top by some margin, but I guess I'm biased.

Yeah U2's fans were strongly rumouring them for a 2025 tour in the summer but the longer their new album has taken to make, the more the rumours have fizzled out.

 

At one point somebody suggested them for Glastonbury but that also seems to have fizzled out.

I guess they played pretty much every festival going last summer so can see that "only UK dates" claim being correct.

You're right about the sizing but they played there this summer with Smashing Pumpkins so feels unlikely again next year.

I didn't realise this. Deftones could play it without Weezer, they don't have to be together for the whole tour. Weezer tour this year passed me by. Totally forgot to search for tickets
