Yes, I saw them too, and they surpassed all expectations - the atmosphere was off-the-scale. On a tiny anecdotal level, Common People got by far the best reaction at Dermot O'Leary's 90s DJ set last summer at Glasto at BBC Introducing... everyone went nuts (even more so than for Live Forever, Song 2...), and I remember a bunch of (I presume) South American lads pushing their way to the front and singing along like their life depended on it...! I thought at the time that if Emily was there she'd have got Pulp signed up there and then to headline the Pyramid in '25 - LOL!
If they managed to book the 3 of Green Day, Linkin Park and Olivia they've done very well. Heard some of LP live concert from a couple of days back the other day though and thought it sounded a bit average.
Righto. The names mentioned we are getting today above are pretty much all the things I loved from the Barcelona drop but didn't really like the line up as whole. So I am guessing I won't be to happy with the full Porto line up if it will be similar.
Also does Barcelona have more names to add?
Im kind of resigned to them not doing Glastonbury again. I think it would have already happened on the comeback if it was going to. FYI Glasto bookers - Prove me wrong!!!! go on I dare you
