Some US venues have apparently been making similar teases of an announcement at 7am Eastern time, which matches up with this place.

 

Any UK spots pop up yet with their own hints at this announcement? Says it would be Thursday at 12 UK time.

To be honest I didn't expect them to be able to go as big in Belgium as her. There is no way England would have booked for example Linkin Park/SOAD/Blink on the same day, that's like a whole weekend festival for a rock festival here.

That's a spot tbf. But then looking at the data, the 3 Download headliners this year didn't play any other UK shows in 2024.

I'd almost day massively unlikely as they would be taking Weezer with them and denting Download sales heavily. I would probably jump from Download to do bst instead.

Fair hit. QOTSA did arenas in late 2023, as did FOB, but it's plausible Download was going to be the big commitment.

Think when I saw them at BST in 2017 the other options that summer were an arena show in Sheffield and an intended outdoor date in Glasgow where the stage wasn't ready so the show got canned.

 

... or whatever the story behind that farce was.
