She was excellent in Leeds a few months ago. Would heartily recommend.

Yup great in London also, band were cool too.  As I only get to a few a year nowadays I may skip unless there’s another album out by then.

She hasn't played in the Midlands since 2013... Maybe someday I can see her, but not in 2025 apparently.

I think this is the one. If it's with the chap from Holding Absence on top, then it could be cracking.

Can only guess My Chemical Romance fans who got their hopes up this was an imminent UK tour were annoyed. Not that I'm sure if there will be one. Apparently one of their arty promo vids has Big Ben in the background which some interpreted as a sign they might come here, but then could just be set dressing.

Though at least anyone in Cardiff going to this isn't likely to be charged the batshit insane prices tickets to MCR's US stadium tour are going for.

Prices for the MCR dates weren't bad when they came back on the reunion run, but I think that was probably helped by the fact they were pre-covid sales just carried over. We were yet through the looking glass on these matters.

I've got a strict financial limit, with some exceptions, for the type of gig I'll go to, with the venue size a major factor. I am aware that I'm incredibly lucky to catch so much though.

Discussed earlier in another chat that MCR's European sales were not as fantastic as they could have been on the reunion run.

I'd wager, by the itinerary, it'd be a one-and-done in London. I'm honestly not sure if they would sell out two nights at Wembley Stadium for example - might be a bit of a Blur situation where tickets to Night #2 are very easy to come by.

The Pogues gig interests me, in that when i saw them the last few times they'd play at least half the gig with no Shane anyways, and they didnt really miss him that much. The guests could be interesting! But it'll almost certainly cost far, far too much and i wouldnt want to pay more than about thirty quid.

I dont want to say No Shane, no party, but . . .

I suspect any return will be more than those 2022 shows, given as noted these were 2019 prices and preceded the whopping rise we've had both thanks to all the post-covid/Ukraine inflation and the gig industry's "f**k it, people will pay it" attitude to big gigs.

I mean, if it is the end of me being able to go to so many in one year, I've had a good run.
