Thats probs £60 at brixton academy - which tracks with how much it costs for gigs there these days - think im out. Good info though, very useful 👍 Had pencilled in a plan to do the Bermondsey beer mile that saturday with some mates, and it could be ambitious to tack on a Pogues gig at the end of it, i might not be able to do both!

The last couple of times I saw them it was without Shane, still a great night but not the same.

 

I also saw Shane with The Popes around the same time. A half empty Liverpool Uni, came on late, got kicked off cos of the curfew, said they'd be back... reader, they never came back.

I’ve seen The Popes without Shane (surely their raison d'être?), supporting The Stranglers
