For some reason, I think PE are going to play the pyramid, 4th down in the Friday - that is all. (This will be the greatest moment of my life)

I have them fourth down Pyramid on the Saturday funnily enough! I would have them as WH headliners but I think Cypress Hill would be the choice for a rap headliner. I could also see Ice Cube doing 3rd/4th down Pyramid too!

Public Enemy please. That could be legendary. (And please God, no Cypress Hill)

Good to see they haven't gone London centric.

Okay, I may be being slow here, but what help is it to the Wildfires in LA that acts are postponing announcements?

Expand

Maybe because, for them, it's not the time to be excited about stuff but probably because people like to shout on social media for no reason. "How can you be pushing a tour when people are dying!?", "It's so insensitive!" and all that stuff.

Well that is largely disappointing. There is usually something I would consider getting tickets for but nothing this time.

I kind of agree

Its one date on a world tour. Would it really be held back for a random midwest city - doubt it

Would love to see Kasabian and Blossoms but will be impossible nowadays with the queueing systems. In the past I'd have been pretty confident of getting tickets but it's barely worth the effort now

There's no downside to them pushing it back a week or so, they'll still sell it out. However there is a downside to pushing it on a week where socials are flooded with posts about charities and support for people still affected. Also loads of artists are based in LA (such as Trent from NIN).

True yep

Being realistic here a big reason is probably that it gets buried in the news too. Its been front page online for about a week here, can't imagine what its like in the US

That and a lot of the people who'd have to work on the announcements, including follow up with press etc. could well also be LA based and more focused on things like whether or not they'll still have a home in a few days. It's not going to hurt us all to wait a while.
