Yeah it's depressing when you start seeing 25th/30th anniversaries of records you were buying as a teenager.

Teenager 🙄

I used to drive my eldest round the district listening to Parklife when she was teething and wouldnt sleep in the middle of the night...

Funny, I though Dave, Depeche Mode and Gaga for '24 and Fender, Dua and Bruce for '25 the other day

I forgot about Blur so I'd actually go Dua Lipa, DM and Blur for 24. Also, Fender, Dave and another. Another scenario is Bruce, DM and Blur for 24. Dua Lipa, Dave and Fender for 25. I don't think those combinations will be far off.

Figures that it's on both Arctic Monkeys at the Emirates weekend and a London venue that's somehow even more of a pain in the arse for me to get to than the Olympic Stadium.

Tbf I did imagine a DM London show to be this size. Even if I thought it might get paired with another show up north rather than this being a (for now) UK exclusive date.

Why not. The "old" ones are going to eventually be gone. There are only so many springsteen and mccartneys around and theyre in short supply. Nobody is going to care anyway when it happens.  Its going to be push comes to shove soon enough and there will be 3 headliners under the age of 35 topping the lineup.

How fast did it look like it was selling. Did gold circle sell out.

Its the 02 pre-sale. Short que to get in and all ticket bands including gold circle still on sale.

I only noticed late last night that they were available on O2.

Bagged a couple of tickets for this - looking forward to it, not been to that venue before either but looks good.

They've said the set with focus on their latest album (ain't listened to it) as well as Somewhere in Time (which I like a lot). I'll consider it nearer the time, as it's just after Rock Werchter, which I might go to if I don't get Glastonbury tickets.
