wouldn't be linked or a updated edition of yung bluds festival there last year could it?

Oo I mean they are both AEG Presents festivals so there might be a link there. It does seem to be a thing of its own however; mentions two music stages and a third stage hosted by John Robb which "will delve into the artistry, movement and culture through in-depth discussions with renowned artists, going behind the scenes to reveal their stories"

I'd be surprised if it's being billed as a relative to Cruel World.

I've seen a couple articles (v PR-fed) that says it is the "UK sister event" of Cruel World. Not exactly cheap, I'll say. Presale first release tickets are at £85 (presumably without fees)

Less of an announcement and more one to mull - tickets apparently getting low for Catfish and the Bottlemen in Manchester.

Is this just Ticketbastard creating false demand in the same way as they would with a seated show? They can't take whole blocks of tickets off sale in any visible way, so put a note like this out? This is as brown and smelly as their music is...

My exact thoughts. Heaton Park also has the benefit, with no physical stands, that it can be scaled appropriately to demand and considered a "sell-out".

They may only have shifted 12,000 for this. If they suddenly reduce capacity for the event with the council to 15,000, then hey presto - a sell-out show you can tout as proof of your powers, even if it is significantly below where you previously were.

Normally, this would take Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to its nominal cap of five concerts per year - they also have two from Imagine Dragons and one for Catfish and the Bottlemen - but the club were allowed to increase their non-matchday events list to thirty per year earlier this August.

How this shakes down for gigs is another matter - it obviously hosts a lot of other sporting events, from NFL to rugby union and more.

We do occasional (very small scale) comedy shows in Newcastle.  Trust me, if we put out an email saying 'limited seats available' or 'last few tickets remaining' we've sold bugger all.
