Leaves a lot of potential options   I've seen people on Twitter guessing Bon Jovi already and I'm sure Bruce Springsteen won't be far behind... could Brian Fallon be a more realistic candidate? Has a European tour ending in March with a US one ending in late May.

Were the other coordinates city specific or just state? Bruce and Bon Jovi are both from other cities within the state New Jersey. Biggest band from Jersey City is My Chemical Romance but I doubt they will let a festival announce their comeback.

Brian Fallon and Patti Smith are also from different parts of New Jersey... Not that many active bands or acts from Jersey City, as far as I can find... Kool & the Gang keep popping up.

Yo La Tengo from Hoboken, not that far from Jersey City... But the other coordinates were really specific in most cases, so would surprise me if it would be them.

I don't think Nick Cave will play Primavera and Mad Cool and I'd say he's more likely for Primavera. Patti however has played Primavera a lot so she could play in Madrid while he plays Barca.

No. It's one of the weak points of the festival. It's an urban festival. You have to look for an hostel or a place to stay in the city.

Mad Cool CM said that they'll share the 3 NOS Alive headliners. Depeche Mode played at NOS Alive this year, so they are not among them. So mathematically, Depeche Mode coheadline and there are at least two other headliners to come.

maybe 2 headliner-level bands every day? i wouldn't rule this possibility out. they even states smth like "all the bands are important for us" when asked if DM is a headliner. depeche mode + qotsa would be a very solid combo.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking, Pearl Jam seem highly likely but no idea on the other. There was some debate yesterday as to whether The National are coheadlining Nos Alive with QOTSA or outright headlining, but surely either way that would put them at Mad Cool if it's supposedly getting 'all three Nos headliners' ?

If The National and QOTSA co-headline NOS Alive - which to me seems like the most likely option atm - doesn't that put the count of NOS Alive headliners up to four?

I mean, either The National and QOSTA aren't co-headlining, or the "all THREE of them" statement just doesn't add up? (pun intended)

For Arriving to the festival you can use "Cercanias" (line C-1). it is a train that conects some parts of the city with Valdebebas in a few minutes. Look for Chamartin area or Nuevos Ministerios area. 10 minutes to the site using Cercanias or 12/15 euros by Taxi.

The site also can be reached by metro (Feria de Madrid stop in line 8 ), but this stop is 15 minutes walking from the festival área

The area is also close to IFEMA , I think there a couple of Hotels over there , also check Barajas village which is close to the airport and 5 minutes by taxi from Valdebebas, I reckon this is just next to the Real Madrid training center.
